Introversion fee

Sometimes the actions done by a customer instead of the paid staff are reffered as a "shadow work". Furniture assembly, self-service at the gas-station, *self-checkout*, etc. Doesn't matter. I love the self-checkout terminals. The store in my reach has the discounts on the goods that are running out of time, like yesterday's pastry and stuff. But you can't punch these discounts at the self-checkout because they're just the slapped-on stickers with the date written on, so I mostly leave these goods to someone who would care more. But when there no fresh goods left, I have to take the discounted ones and I still bring these to the self-checkout paying the full price so I can skip the cashier. It feels like an introvesrion fee.
